Liz was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of Woodside in December 2025.

Prior to this, she served as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Australia from 2024, leading Woodside’s projects and business operations for Australia.

Liz joined Woodside in 2023 as Executive Vice President Australian Operations, where she was responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable performance of Woodside’s Australian asset portfolio.

Before joining Woodside, Liz was Chief Operating Officer at EnergyAustralia, with broad leadership accountabilities spanning sustainability; Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE); procurement; and the operations of EnergyAustralia’s generation portfolio.

Liz previously spent 25 years with ExxonMobil, working in Australia, the United Kingdom and Italy, including a secondment to Adriatic LNG as Managing Director. Her roles spanned strategic planning, operations, project management, and technical, commercial and safety leadership.

Liz holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She joined the Board of the Australian Energy Producers as a Director in January 2026.
