2026 proudly marks Shell Australia’s 125th year of operations in Australia. Starting with the first bulk kerosene shipment in 1901, across more than a century we have provided energy to help power the nation, supported regional communities and contributed to Australia’s social and economic prosperity.
Our integrated gas portfolio includes two Shell-operated gas production and liquefaction businesses, Shell QGC in Queensland, and Prelude Floating LNG off the coast of Western Australia. It also includes non-operated interests in Arrow Energy in Queensland and in Gorgon and North West Shelf in Western Australia.
Our Shell Energy Australia business is one of the country’s largest suppliers of electricity to commercial and industrial customers. Through our Powershop business, we also offer energy to homes and small businesses in Victoria, New South Wales, South East Queensland and South Australia.
