Review Process
All submissions will be evaluated and scored in accordance with the following criteria:
- Does it contain new/original knowledge or experience in a field of relevance?
- Is the data in the paper proposal technically correct?
- How relevant is the material to the upstream energy industry?
- How well is the submission written?
- How well is the message conveyed?
- What is the overall effectiveness of the submission in conveying its message?
Please note
- The Technical Program Committee will review all submissions.
- Submissions discussing case studies are highly regarded.
- Submissions cowritten by Operators and Consultants help in overcoming advertorials.
- If accepted, the decision on the presentation type and program allocation will be determined by the Technical Program Committee.
- The final program will be created by the Australian Energy Producers and the Technical Program Committee.
- Abstracts might meet the quality criteria for the program, but they may not be accepted if there are insufficient papers on that theme or topic. The Technical Papers Committee will select papers that ensure the best overall program for the conference.
