Mr Cooper is a senior executive with more than 20 years’ experience leading commercial, financial and operational functions across complex organisations and major development projects. He has a strong track record of driving business transformation, building high-performing teams and delivering large-scale projects from early-stage development through to execution and operations.
Mr Cooper brings broad end-to-end leadership experience spanning corporate strategy, commercial management, capital allocation, financing, governance, risk management and operational performance across multi-jurisdictional businesses. He has successfully established, transformed and scaled organisational capabilities, leading integrated finance, commercial and corporate functions to support growth, disciplined execution and long-term value creation.
Mr Cooper joined Strike Energy as Chief Financial Officer in May 2025 and is responsible for finance, commercial, marketing, investor relations, tax, treasury, information technology and company secretary functions. Prior to joining Strike, he held senior executive and commercial leadership roles with Fortescue, Quadrant Energy and APM.
